Update: My car has worked incredibly. There was an initial problem the next day with the replacement turbo charger, but they quickly handled it and were incredibly helpful through the process. They apologized for the experience I had with them up to that point and were very regretful I had it because it was not a representation of them. I believe them because everyone else has had great experiences. They ended up leaving a very positive impression on me. I will take my car back there instantly if I ever have another problem. ########################### I just recently moved back to NM from Seattle. I have a 2012 Range Rover Evoque with less than 70k miles on it. I’m the original owner. My car started down shifting really hard and would need to be jumped a couple of times. I took it in on June 19th. The woman helping was amazing. Very professional, personable, and empathetic. They were going to do a diagnostic test to find out what was wrong. She called me later and gave me the results. It wasn’t the greatest news, but it made sense. They had replace my battery with a different kind specific for my car and they found a leak in the manifold. It was going to be $7k. Ouch, but fine. She said they would need to order the turbo charger and it would take a couple of days and wouldn’t get to it until Tuesday because they are closed on Sunday and Mondays. Sounds reasonable. She said that they might be able to finish it on Tuesday, but it would most likely be Wednesday but they would let me know. I hadn’t heard anything by late Wednesday afternoon so I called. The woman I had been speaking to was not there and a guy in a very breathy voice answered. He said that they hadn’t started on it yet and the guy that was going to be working on it was going on vacation Friday and wouldn’t start on it until he returns on the following Tuesday. Ummmm, WHATTT???? I was so confused. I had never heard of such a thing If I went on vacation, I either had to finish my work or transfer it to someone else so deadlines wouldn’t be missed and clients wouldn’t fire us. I pushed back saying I was told it would be ready today at the latest and that I got a car rental up until the day they told me it would be ready. He put me on hold and then came back to tell me that they were going to get the owner to come in and work on it so hopefully it would be done by Saturday but he would call me and let me know. I extended my rental until Saturday. I never received a call. So it was basically him telling me a flat out lie so I would get off the phone. The owner never worked on it. I was never called. I had to call yesterday (7/1) to get up update. He said they started working on it that morning and should be done later that day or early the next day. At this point I didn’t believe a word coming out of his mouth. I told him one of the main reasons I came here instead of the dealership is because they are way more expensive. But with the need to keep extending my rental daily, the cost pretty much is the same but I innovative Auto Solutions caused me more stress. He finally called with an update. The first one since they did the diagnostic test. It wouldn’t be ready that day (yesterday), but will be ready today. I got a call this morning it was ready. This is my review of their customer service. I’m hoping the work done on my was is good. Don’t worry, I’ll let you after about a week with it. I’ll post another review. I’m hoping it’s a 5-star. We shall see. Long story short: they suck at keeping commitments, they suck at communicating (I would have been so much calmer had my expectations been met or at least adjusted as needed), and they suck for parking my car while the guy was on vacation (so thankful he only took like two days). II had to call when they went past the timing they gave me. If they would have told me from the beginning that they are really busy and have someone going on vacation so it will be a bit of a delay then I could have decided to keep it there or take it elsewhere. This was shameful.
